Zuli and Chris
Read MoreThe Hangar Flight museum is a popular choice for weddings, and I thought that a lot of good images had already been done. We planned for an image that did not exist in the Museum's archives or online.
Taken with a wide lens to capture the couple and the majestic bomber, I felt the need to use backlighting for this photo. It adds drama, and emphasizes the couple in the foreground.

A smaller plane and another backlit shot. We actually went inside this one and they had a fun time in the cabin with the antique controls.

Film-noir inspired. Dramatic backlighting and mysterious fog, coupled with rays of light... Did I mention there is a lovely couple Eskimo kissing in the foreground?

We tried to make the rings look spectacular, while still keeping the pattern on the inside of the ring. That pattern is actually the couples' FINGERPRINT!

Photo of the couples' cake. It was still summer and pretty hot outside, and this cake started melting soon after this shot. I'm glad we got this early on!

This sign was posted strategically at the nearby intersection. We captured this image early in the morning as we were heading towards the ceremony location. You can see the smokey Calgary sky on Aug 18, 2018.

Every detail of her outfit is considered. We spent over 45 minutes covering the bride getting ready. She was really involved in co-ordinating the 4 ladies fixing her sari!

Chris getting some pampering from Zuli's dad. This was another quick candid, the type that is over in just under 2 seconds. I managed to capture this, and so happy that I got Chris smiling!

Mr. Kurji looking handsome, just as the bride is about to come out. He almost didn't want to pose, but we broke through the shyness!

Just as we were doing the poses, her grandma came out and gave her a hug. I managed to capture the candid moment as it happened, without having a chance to setup lights.

His sister did his henna! We went for the high-key approach even though this was a dimly-lit hallway.

Zuli's mom giving her away to Chiris. It was a very heartfelt moment that we captured while trying not be in the scene.
